This will be my last introduction until I see the very final moments of the last episode. After this is submitted, I will be offline until Sunday morning, be the results good or bad. And I have a good feeling that all of this waiting will finally be worth it.

About this project – Early on in the second season, I always imagined that if Zutara would happen, Zuko would have to do something drastic and epic for Katara. Some part of me always believed that Zuko would sacrifice himself to save her and if he did this, Zutara would indeed happen. And after hearing that in the dreaded “book”, it happened. At first, I really had no idea to feel either excited or concerned. But after I read it, I could cry it was written so badly and it ended so much differently than it would in the show by the simple fact of the character’s personalities, which the “book” gave them none whatsoever! So, I decided that on this project, I would show how I think this scene will play out before we actually see it in the finale.

After witnessing the latest new commercials for Avatar, we know for sure this scene will take place and the few second I have witnesses of it are absolutely heart-pounding. They are more epic than I ever could have imagined and I can’t wait. This episode is most likely, “Into the Inferno”, where the summary stated that Zuko would have to face his sister and asked the question, “Is he ready?” Personally, I believe that if/when Zutara is going to be established as canon in Avatar, it HAS to be this moment. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind anymore because if Zuko saving Katara’s life doesn’t establish this couple as canon, how else it could be established in such a passionate and epic manner?

There really isn’t a plot to discuss. I think the comic will do that well enough because we all should know this scene by heart now. But, if you would like to read a story dedicated to this moment, please read the comment on this picture I drew nearly a month ago -- [link]

Here are all of the pages of my Zutara project in preparation of the finale of Avatar. It’s been an amazing past week with all this outpouring of Zutara support. It’s been a very good week. I just hope this project gave a good sendoff before we see the finale on Saturday. It’s been a great ride, Zutarians, and I consider myself very fortunate to be there with you all and celebrate our love for this wonderful ship whether or not it comes out on top. There have been many ups and downs in this long and tireless journey, but I think this Saturday, it will all be worth it. So get ready for an amazing last six episodes, and let me tell you, it will be EPIC! And no matter what the creators chose for the ending, ZUTARA FOREVER!
