Zutara - We'll Be Together

Okay, I was going to save this picture for my 100th submission, but after I finished it, I just couldn't wait to show it to you guys! Yes, this is a new style I tried in an attempt to add to the realistic nature of the piece, which I think I accomplished after a lot of hard work of getting rid of all the black lines. Also, I think with this, the characters blend in so much better into the background, but this isn't a style I want to use on all my pictures. Just ones that are a bit more special than the others.

The background comes from the picture "Azula: Red Sun Rising" done my the fabulous *Purple-Twilek, who so nicely gave me permission to use her background. Thanks!

The plot for this came from my thoughts on the finale and how Zuko and Katara can pull through by relying on the strength of their love they have for one another. They hold to each other and look upon the face of impending war with totally different outlooks. While Katara silently cries in the realization of this battle and the consequences that might ensue, Zuko looks on with determination and his anticipation to fulfill his destiny and to make it out alive for the woman he loves.

Well, one thing that confuses about this picture is whether the object in the background is either the moon or the sun, which was giving my difficulty in trying to figure out the shading. The moon would have given this piece a more haunted glow while the sun gives a brighter and more defined look, so I went with the sun.

Avatar is believed to be airing on Nickelodeon in only 7 more days! As always, Zutara for the win!
