Hello again. Sorry for the inactivity lately. I am currently in the process of finishing a new Zutara project. It’s a surprise, so I can’t let you know now, but I promise, I am working very hard on it and it is something that I can’t wait to show you guys. I promise you’re going to love it, so keep your eyes out for it. It WILL be out before the finale, so don’t you worry. : giggle:

--- Hmmm… I guess we can start pondering the possibilities… Oh my goodness! July, you have to come faster!

Initially, Aang stood out on the right in this picture. He had just finished training with Katara and Zuko stepped in to start another training session in firebending. Katara was walking away from the scene and was just looking back at Zuko as she passed him. But after I looked at Aang and how much he made such a flirty picture look a bit overcrowded, I just decided to crop him out. This is what remained. As far as the setting goes, it takes place on Ember Island and the scene is the early morning hours on the day the gang attends the play.

Plot –

Katara sighed softly before lowering her hands to rest comfortably against her sides. “Good job, Aang. You’re waterbending is still improving. That’s very impressive.” Katara stated before wiping off some residual drops of water from her forehead.

“Thank you, Sifu-Katara!” Aang replied as he tried to fight the rising heat to his face at her compliment.

“Don’t get too comfortable. You’re training for today is far from over.” Zuko stated as he walked over to the two. Katara glanced over at her shoulder to just witness the muscular firebender remove his shirt and throw it upon the side of the fountain. Her cheeks burned at his physique and the determined smile on his face.

“Of course, Sifu-Hotman!” Aang said before initiating an overzealous salute to the firebender.

“Don’t call me that! You know how I hate when you call me that!” Zuko growled as he fought a blush from hearing that embarrassing name Aang had a habit of calling him. Katara just giggled softly at the playful banter and fitting name before retreating slowly to allow Zuko leverage to step in front of the Avatar.

“Sorry, Zuko! Let’s just start!” Aang said before starting squats that Zuko always demanded he do before they started any form of firebending.

Katara swallowed to remove a dry patch in her throat before walking quietly by Zuko, who already began to firebend. The fire in his hand licked at his fingers as the soft glow from his element shown brightly against his body. Zuko felt Katara brush by him. Zuko inconspicuously looked over at his shoulder and upon the back of the retreating waterbender. The white wrappings hugged every curve on her as her hair softly billowed in the wind against her face.

Katara reached up to her brunette hair before allowing her fingers to tug gently in-between the strands of silky locks located along her hairline. Katara bit her lip as she looked over her shoulder. She noticed the firebender’s eyes on her. She blushed nervously at his rather flirty smile before returning one of her own. She noticed the soft pink color growing under his unscarred eye and her blush grew. As hard as she didn’t want to believe it and hated to admit it, she was rowing accustomed to these training sessions and it seemed as if everyday, they kept getting better.

Okay. There wasn’t much plot in the first place, so this is just something I just made up on the top of my head. Also, I tried my hardest not to include Aang in the story since I deleted him from the picture, but he set up the scene, so I had to use him. I don’t really think he’d notice too much of the flirting going on between Zuko and Katara since he didn’t notice the cute banter in the Ember Island Players clip too much.

One more thing to point out – I was going to have them talking to one another, but it seemed a bit awkward, so I deleted that portion, but here’s how it would have played out –

Katara: (Wiping Sweat from her brow) Is it hot, or is that just me?

Zuko: (Looking at her with a flirty smile) Now that you mention it, I think it did get a lot hotter...

…After reading this, I think I am kind of glad I didn’t have them saying anything. LOL!
