Alright, now I know what you're all going to say... 'He's so out of character!' Okay, first of all, this is five years later, and he has to grow up some time. And he is way more in character then he ever was in any of those Maiko scenes... Bleck... Oh, and don't remind me. I know Katara's hair is a mess, but she just got up to see what was taking Zuko so long to get to bed.

Anyhoo, I want to let it known that yeah, Katara would be able to heal his scar, but without it, you can hardly tell it's Zuko, so I drew it this way. I kinda think that Katara would want him to keep it because that's how she's always known him. But who knows?

Okay, this takes place 5 years after the war is over.

How the war ends: Aang is fighting the Fire Lord, and in the process, Oazi tries to attack Katara and Zuko, sick of the constant fighting and the fact that he can't hide his feelings from Katara any longer, he jumps in front of the attack and saves her life by giving his own. Zuko is mortally wounded, but Katara, overcome by her strong emotions for the Prince after all these years, (and him saving her was just the icing on the cake :wink: ) was able to save his life. After Ozai is dead and all is said and done, Zuko is still recovering from his wounds and Katara is still with him everyday, not being able to leave his side after he saved her life.

Over the next few months, when Aang leaves to make sure the Fire Nation threats are haulted in the rest of the nations, they begin to form a relationship they weren't able to in the brink of the war and violence. Katara soon sees the side of him she saw in the cave and Zuko finally realizes that Katara is everything he ever wanted. Once they realize this, everything begins to fall into place until the day Zuko asks her to be his bride. *Fangirl Lovey-Dovey Sigh*

Katara: Hey sweetheart. What's my husband up to?

Zuko: Just getting some work done.

Panel 3 -

Katara: Again? This is the third night in a row...

Zuko: Katara, you knew when I became Fire Lord that it would be my responsibility to get the world back to normal.

Panel 4 -

Katara: I know that... It's just... Wow... You're so warm...

Zuko: Heh. You're hands are freezing. They feel so good.

Panel 6 - (Zuko's tryin' to get busy. )

Katara: Hey, Zuko, guess what?

Zuko: Hmm?

Panel 7 -

Katara: I'm pregnant!

Panel 8 -

Zuko: We're -- We're going to have a baby?

Katara: Mm-Hmm. You're gonna be a daddy. Doesn't that make you happy?

Panel 9 -

Zuko: Nothing makes me happier other than the day you agrred to be my wife... I love you so much...

Katara: Me too. (She was happy when he asked her.)
