Makorra - Never Close Our Eyes

NOOOOOO!!!!! Have I possibly gone DAFFY!? I told myself a million times I wasn't going to get started again!!!!! .... Even after my lengthy rant about Bryke betraying us in A:TLA, they're going to do it again or are using Makorra to draw in Zutarians to give us what we want? Am I nuts to get sucked in AGAIN!?

Oh well.

I just couldn't help it. No, I did not watch any episodes, I just saw some amazing Makorra fanart lately and just their resemblance made me realize just what a beautiful coupling Zutara is and how much I miss drawing it. O____o But, I also thought, what kind of Zutara fan would I be NOT to at least draw these two even without watching the show.

So, in case they are super out of character, I have never seen the show, so I don't really understand their chemistry between the two or if they would ever be in such a situation or would even act on it. Just a hopeless romantic vicariously reliving Zutara through these two.

I did a beach scene. It wasn't originally intended but I didn't want to go look up the costumes because I was being lazy so I just decided to do whatever looked right for a day at the beach. Also, another brilliant excuse not to draw shoes and a great excuse to draw Mako without a shirt and shorts to show those muscular legs.

Anyhoo, don't expect me to draw too much more of this coupling. I did it on a whim feeling nostalgic of Zutara. If this coupling is more defined and obvious and is easily noticeable they will be cannon, who knows? I'd have to be knowing for sure though because I as heck am not going to be let down again. If they happen, great, if not, oh well.
